Ghosh's admiration for nature is unparalleled. He believes that nature can be the best friend of designers, and most of his designs carry that impression. Maintaining environmental and product safety measures is an integral part of our production practices.

In today's world, where resources are limited, it becomes a priority for everyone to use them carefully and preserve them for future generations. Hence the brand practises controlling its operational footprint by using recycled materials such as recycled zippers made from ocean waste plastic and brass, and by sourcing leather responsibly from LWG-certified tanneries — meaning all environmental standards have been properly followed. Using vegetable-tanned leather and FSC-certified packaging materials further helps reduce environmental impact.

Recycled zippers. It is an oath taken by the brand that 95% of the zippers used in the atelier are recycled. Most importantly, these zippers are manufactured from recycled ocean waste plastic, recycled copper, recycled zinc and recycled polyester, and all the materials and their processing steps are inspected and passed through the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) — Version 4.0.

Recycled brass metal. 75% of our fittings — lion trio fittings, lion ring fittings and others — are produced using recycled brass from the local scraps market. It is an initiative that has been followed from the very first day of the brand.

Sourcing leather from LWG-certified tanneries. Sourcing of leather is an integral part of production. 70% of our leather is procured from LWG-certified tanneries. LWG sets the environmental standards for leather production, which means these tanneries are well maintained, offer good working conditions, and reduce their carbon footprint by avoiding health-hazardous chemical substances.

Vegetable-tanned leather. An alternative and the oldest technique of leather tanning, done using natural vegetable and plant-based tannins. The leather is not treated with harmful chemicals and carries no synthetic top coating. This kind of leather decomposes easily, leaving behind a smaller carbon footprint than chrome-tanned leather.
