By accessing or using our website, visitors agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and other applicable policies published on our website. We may revise these Terms from time to time, and the updated version will be made available on the Website.

The Website is intended for persons who are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law. Persons below the age of 18 years should not place orders or enter into transactions through this Website.

4. Payment

If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason, we will notify you and, where applicable, refund the amount paid through the original payment method.

5. Made-to-Order Production Policy

Our products are primarily created on a Made to Order basis. We uphold this production process as part of our sustainable production practice, to overcome mass production and reduce wastage of resources.

Because each piece may require individual sourcing, craftsmanship and production, Made to Order purchases cannot ordinarily be cancelled once production has commenced, except where required under applicable law or expressly agreed by us.

We may restrict quantities, decline particular orders or discontinue the availability of a product where reasonably necessary.

6. Custom Made & Special Orders

Certain products, including customised, bespoke or Heritage Bag orders, may require additional measurements, information, confirmation or verification before production begins.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where the requested specifications cannot reasonably be fulfilled. If payment has already been received for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded through the original payment method.

7. International Orders

For international orders, shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, clearance charges or other government levies imposed by the destination country will be payable by the client. Such charges are outside our control and may be collected separately by the shipping or customs authorities.

The delivery timeline may vary for international orders, due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Raw Materials & Product Variations

Our products may incorporate natural leather, brass, semi-precious stones and other materials that can naturally vary in colour, texture, grain, finish and appearance.

Such variations are inherent characteristics of natural and handcrafted materials and should not necessarily be considered defects.

The cost and availability of certain materials may fluctuate. Consequently, product prices may change when an item is recreated or produced at a later date.

9. Order Modification & Damage

Requests to modify an order should be sent to info@sauravghosh.com as soon as possible. We will consider reasonable requests, but modifications cannot be guaranteed once production has started.

If an item arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect product, please notify us within 3 days of delivery, along with the relevant order details and supporting photographs where appropriate. We will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with our applicable policies.

10. Delivery & Shipping

Estimated delivery timelines will be communicated with the order confirmation. Delivery periods may vary depending on product requirements, availability of materials, destination, customs procedures and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

For domestic orders, shipping is complimentary across India.

Clients may visit the Order section and use the order or tracking information provided with their order.

11. Product Information & Dimensions

Product dimensions, photographs and descriptions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. As many of our products are handcrafted, minor variations may occur between individual pieces.

Colours shown on digital screens may also differ slightly from the actual product depending on the device, display settings and lighting conditions.
